Hola a todos! This week has been a hard week. We had a young girl drop us because her dad didn’t agree with what we were teaching her. This is one of those times in my mission where I really depended on the Lord. It was a difficult experience because I wanted her to get baptized and feel the joy and happiness.
I am in Mesa Liahona Dos now with Elder Romero my 13th companion in my mission. Isn’t that just so crazy. He is from the Las Vegas area and is a great missionary to be around. We work so well together and are unified all the time. To have hit my 17th month mark on my mission. I feel like I have been out for my whole life. I have really enjoyed the spiritual experiences I have out while serving these two years.

I recently gave a talk in Sacrament meeting about the importance of repenting each day. I have found that Repentance isn’t a consequence it is a gift from God to make us better people and to help others better their lives too. I have been a district leader for almost a transfer and a half now and it has helped me break out of my quiet bubble. Many people say that a mission is hard. Let me tell you THEY ARE COMPLETELY CORRECT! The mission is a trying mixed-emotion time. I am glad I have had the opportunity to serve and have to push now to the finish line.
In PMG pg 51, it says that the Atonement (meaning becoming ‘at one with God’) is a remarkable gift that we have in this life. “God cannot look on sin with any degree of allowance, and sin prevents us from living in His presence” This portion of PMB is so true this is why we must all repent each day.
If any of you would like my talk on the Atonement, send me an email and I will email it to you!
Love you all and here is a scripture for the week!
Moses 6:56
“Wherefore teach it unto your children, that all men, everywhere, must repent, or they can in nowise inherit the kingdom of God, for no unclean thing can dwell there, or dwell in his presence; for, in the language of Adam, Man of Holiness is his name, and the name of his Only Begotten is the Son of Man, even Jesus Christ, a righteous Judge, who shall come in the meridian of time.”
Have a great week and God Bless! ✌️❤️ 😎
